Logo Design Explanation
The Border of the Logo - is designed as a door inspired from a temple in the olden times. It represents as a jubilee door that reminds us of the past and allow us to be in the present and gives us a view of the future.
The Cross, Host and the Sun - stands for the 100 years or century old as a Diocese.
The Cross - represents the one and truly Christ in the life of the Church in Zamboanga.
The Round White Host - stands for the Body and Blood of Christ in the Eucharist. It sustains the faith of the people of Zamboanga and it brings the faithful together every time the Eucharist is celebrated.
The Eight Sun Rays - are representatives of the eight (8) Bishops and Archbishops who shared their love, talent, time and faith to help the Archdiocese become what it is now. read more
