• Reflection: Knowing our history/roots;
  • revisiting the past + Recognizing the efforts of the first missionaries +
  • Acknowledging the efforts of the lay partners of evangelization: catechists, church workers, etc.
• Renewal of the Local Church
  • Revisiting the APAZ I & II - Assessing our present situation
  • Identifying strategic directions
• Recommitting to the mission
• Renewed Evangelization
• Restoring moral values - living the spirit of MSPC XIII
• Ritualization - Celebrate: APAZ with gratitude; celebrate history in songs, dances, signs, symbols, including the activities in APAZ

THEME: “Remembering the past with gratitude, living the present in communion, facing the future with renewed spirit”

STRATEGIES

• Renewal of the clergy, religious & Laity
  • Active Involvement of the Clergy & Religious Men & Women, Parishes, schools, BECs, LGU, Mass Media, Lay Institutes, Religious Organizations/Movements in the Archdiocese
  • Involvement of the local churches in Mindanao: Golden (Suffragan & former suffragan: Dipolog, Pagadian); Centennial (Mindanao Dioceses)
• Engaging and intensifying the efforts on IRRD (with appropriate activities)
• Engaging with the IPs
• History and Catechesis Celebrations: Pilgrimages, Rites, Rituals
